About Us

Charleston Motor Camp is situated 26 kilometres south of Westport between the Tasman Sea and the mountains of the Paparoa National Park, on the West Coast of New Zealand's South Island.

We have a range of accommodation options including cabins, powered sites, and tent sites. We're child friendly and pets are welcome by arrangement. More info here.

Charleston is a historic community situated just 10 minutes walk from a sandy beach, with coastal tracks and a swing-bridge walk over the Nile River. You may see blue penguins and seals! Visit Charleston, stay awhile and enjoy beautiful West Coast scenery, history, and hospitality.
